Sr Engineer, Equipment Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all. Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Maintain current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues. Study equipment performance and reliability. Establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and addressing equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. Provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations. Define and write preventative maintenance procedures and schedules. Develop and optimize processes to improve product quality and reliability. Coordinate and carry out process, equipment, and material evaluation/optimization to implement changes at process steps, lead and participate in yield improvement and cost reduction activities. Establish and improve process conditions and technology. Upgrade process capability and reduce production cost. Establish and modify process management projects. Set up process parameters for a variety of semiconductor equipment. Evaluate, promote, and plan new equipment and materials. Perform abnormal analysis and implement improvements. Employer will accept a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in an engineering-related occupation.
Position requires:
1\.
ASML TwinScan system platforms:
XT and NXT 193nm and 248nm scanners 2\. Photolithography process and scanner applications related to imaging theory, overlay control, and photo resist properties. 3\. Metrology tools including ASML Yield Star or KLA registration tools 4\. Overlay analysis programs like QONIAC and 5D Analyzer 5\.
Light source equipment:
CYMER XLA and XLR lasers, or GigaPhoton systems 6\.
Productivity metrics and analysis:
Raw process time, wafer per hour, overhead time, bottleneck and constraint analysis 7\. Equipment process qualification and yield improvement projects 8\. Statistic and data analysis programs like JMP (SAS), R, Python, Minitab. Job Profile(s): Equipment Engineer 3
