Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary :
SEACORP is seeking Test and Evaluation (T&E) Engineers at various levels to support the verification and validation of U.S. Navy navigation equipment. This role is responsible for the development of test plans, requirement traceability matrices (RTM), and the execution of critical item tests. The T&E Engineer works closely with the development technical staff to identify system anomalies, generate Software/System Trouble Reports (STRs), and produce detailed test reports to ensure system performance against rigorous naval standards.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Test Development & Execution:
Lead the development of comprehensive test plans and procedures for maritime navigation equipment. Develop and maintain the Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure 100% test coverage of all functional and performance requirements. Oversee day-to-day testing operations, ensuring adherence to established protocols and safety standards. Conduct Critical Item Tests (CIT) on high-priority components and subsystems to identify potential failure points early in the lifecycle. Coordinate with the development technical staff to troubleshoot hardware and software integration issues discovered during testing.
Analysis & Reporting:
Identify system anomalies and generate detailed Software/System Trouble Reports (STRs). Analyze test data to determine system stability, accuracy, and compliance with naval specifications. Generate formal Test Reports (TR) that document test results, deviations, and final recommendations for system certification. Participate in technical reviews and provide data-driven insights to the engineering team for system improvements.

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline. Test Engineer IV
  • Master's Degree in an Engineering discipline.
Experience :
Test Engineer I
  • 0 years of experience required. Test Engineer II
  • 3 years of experience required. Test Engineer III
  • 7 years of experience required. Test Engineer IV
  • 10 years of experience required.
As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship.
