Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on Tooling Engineer with strong experience in precision tooling, die making, and fixture/mold assembly. The ideal candidate will possess excellent mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to manufacture and assemble tooling components while maintaining tight dimensional tolerances. This role requires expertise in precision machining, tooling fabrication, troubleshooting, and supporting manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Manufacture, assemble, and maintain precision tooling, molds, dies, jigs, and fixtures. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications. Build and fit tooling components while ensuring tight dimensional tolerances. Assemble molds, dies, and production fixtures for manufacturing operations. Perform tool fitting, adjustments, repairs, and preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot tooling issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. Inspect finished tooling using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy. Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to support new tooling development and production improvements. Maintain tooling documentation, inspection records, and maintenance logs. Follow safety procedures and quality standards throughout tooling operations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in tooling engineering, tool & die making, or precision machining. Hands-on experience assembling molds, dies, fixtures, and precision tooling. Strong understanding of machining processes, tool fitting, and precision assembly. Ability to work with very tight tolerances and high-precision components. Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and dial indicators. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
