They're looking for an Aftermarket Design Engineer to support safety-related equipment that's already in service around the world. You'll own designs from the specification through to the shop floor, and your work keeps critical plant running. What you'll do Turn design specifications and code requirements into product designs for aftermarket pumps and motors. Write technical evaluations and handle engineering change requests. Disposition nonconforming material to ASME Section I, III and VIII on safety-related units. Support customers and the manufacturing team with technical answers. What you'll bring A BS in Mechanical Engineering. 5+ years designing and analysing industrial rotating machinery such as pumps, turbines or compressors. Confidence reading and producing engineering drawings. SolidWorks or another 3D CAD tool, plus MathCad. Ideally, centrifugal pump experience, a background in power generation, nuclear or chemical process, and working knowledge of ASME III or VIII.
