Mechanical Engineer (Entry Level) - South Burlington, VT

Overall Activities:

We currently have an opening for an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer in our South Burlington, VT office serving clients in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, advanced technology, higher education, and research industries in the Northern New England region and supporting work in other offices. Our mechanical engineers design process systems, HVAC, plumbing, and related systems. In this growth position, the successful candidate will work in multi-disciplinary project teams - regularly coordinating with our engineers, as well as owners, architects, contractors, and designers from other firms. Site visits are a regular part of this position. Above all, Hallam-ICS engineers successfully engage with and satisfy clients and are excited by the opportunity to expand and grow in our business.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Excellent communication skills. Possess self-management, technical, and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with other engineering disciplines. Desire to work in a self-directed team environment. Familiar with AutoCAD, REVIT, and/or other software design tools. Familiarity or interest in learning applicable building, mechanical, and fire codes. Familiarity with current good engineering design practices. A pre-employment drug screening and background check are required.
