  • Permanent, Full-time Paragon Manufacturing Corp is seeking a hands-on Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team in a high-mix, process-driven manufacturing environment.
This role will work closely with senior engineering leadership to support existing programs, translate customer requirements into manufacturable solutions, contribute to new product development and process improvements, and drive discipline across documentation, quality, and production execution. The ideal candidate is a practical, hands-on engineer who operates at the intersection of engineering, operations, and quality, with the ability to take ownership from concept through production. They must be equally comfortable reviewing schematics, designing and building fixtures, and resolving production issues within an ISO-regulated environment, while communicating effectively across engineering, production, and quality teams. This is a high-impact role with increasing ownership over engineering scope, standards, and technical execution over time. Essential Responsibilities Interpret customer drawings, schematics, and specifications to develop manufacturable solutions Define, design, and execute customer-specific projects from concept through production Ensure solutions align with customer requirements, internal capabilities, and business needs Provide direct, hands-on support on the production floor, working closely with assemblers and technicians Troubleshoot build issues and drive root cause and corrective actions Support NPI, prototype builds, and first article validation Establish priorities based on delivery schedules, complexity, and business needs Design and build production and inspection fixtures to support manufacturing and quality Utilize SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD to develop models, drawings, and tooling concepts Design and produce 3D printed components (SLA/FDM) for prototyping and production support Create, update, and maintain BOMs, work instructions, routers, and engineering documentation Ensure documentation supports production repeatability, inspection efficiency, and customer requirements Maintain records required for ISO and regulatory compliance Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and revision control Work closely with production, quality, and sales teams to ensure alignment Communicate project status, risks, and conflicts clearly to stakeholders Participate in internal and customer-facing technical discussions Education & Experience Bachelor's degree (Electro-Mechanical is preferred). Mechanical Engineering considered only with strong hands-on experience in electrical systems, wire harnesses, or cable assemblies 3-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment Experience with wire harnesses, cable assemblies, or electro-mechanical systems Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD Hands-on experience supporting production, including troubleshooting issues and working directly with assembly teams
IPC/WHMA-A-620
Level 3 certification (or equivalent hands-on experience) Strong communication skills across a diverse workforce Strong documentation discipline and attention to detail Experience in
ISO 9001, ISO
