1st Shift | 6:30 AM - 3:00
PM Duration:
6+ Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)

Phone Screen Position Overview Seeking an experienced Equipment & Tool Engineer to support equipment development, integration, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on asset reliability, automated systems, equipment lifecycle management, and production support. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and passionate about process optimization and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing equipment and production assets. Ensure equipment reliability, safety, compliance, and operational efficiency. Conduct equipment health assessments and support preventive maintenance programs. Manage asset lifecycle documentation, configuration control, and maintenance planning. Lead equipment acquisition, testing, commissioning, and modification projects. Create equipment specifications and verification/validation test plans. Collaborate with suppliers, procurement teams, technicians, and cross-functional stakeholders. Analyze maintenance and spare-parts data to improve reliability and reduce costs. Optimize manufacturing equipment for safety, quality, productivity, and maintainability. Support production readiness activities and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field. 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing complex technical projects and equipment implementation. Knowledge of asset management, preventive maintenance, and spare-parts optimization. Experience with hardware/software configuration management and technical documentation. Familiarity with industrial safety standards and regulatory compliance. Understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment systems. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
