In this role, you will support the development, testing, and deployment of aerospace and defense mechanical systems across all phases of program execution. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help translate concepts into proofofconcept hardware, support prototype fabrication and testing, and contribute to fullscale system development that advances critical military and aerospace technologies.
ResponsibilitiesSupports project planning and execution for mechanical system development.
Assists in completing client objectives on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with required quality standards.
Supports test planning and execution including procedure development, test design and analysis, data collection, and report generation.
Contributes to business development and project performance activities to support customer needs.
Collaborates with technical staff on proposal development and ongoing project execution.
Engages in handson engineering work in a fastpaced environment focused on aerospace and defense system development.
Required QualificationsBachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience and registration.
Typically 0 to 3 years of aerospace and/or defense experience.
Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals.
Basic understanding of data acquisition systems and instrumentation.
Basic understanding of SolidWorks and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
Knowledge of military and commercial specifications.
A current U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
Preferred QualificationsMaster of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
