Job Description:
- Typical projects involve gathering requirements from project stakeholders which generally include airplane Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Metrology. Develop project scope and evaluate alternatives to make/buy.
- Develop specifications and/or designs using CAD system as required. Develop and debug software as required.
- Provide equipment documentation as required. Provide project management, including obtaining and managing project budgets.
- A successful candidate in this role will have passion, creativity, and an insatiable desire for process improvement and efficiency.
- They will also have a strong desire to be out in the factory, interacting with mechanics, safety, and equipment services, and directly supporting the production system.
