The role focuses on planning and executing verification and validation activities to ensure products meet engineering specifications and customer requirements. You will lead process and product testing, identify and document defects, support tolerance analysis and inspections, and drive continuous improvement through audits and robust documentation. The ideal candidate combines hands-on test experience with strong knowledge of composites manufacturing processes, tolerance control, and quality systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, develop, and execute test and verification programs for composite assemblies and manufactured parts to validate performance against specifications.
Design and implement test procedures, fixtures, and measurement methods to assess material, process, and product quality.
Perform root cause analysis of defects found during testing or manufacturing; recommend corrective and preventive actions and verify effectiveness.
Conduct manufacturing process audits and supplier quality audits; document findings and follow up on corrective action plans.
Execute dimensional and tolerance inspections using appropriate measuring equipment; ensure parts meet specified tolerances and drawing requirements.
Generate clear, accurate test reports, nonconformance reports, and engineering documentation in accordance with quality management system standards.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and materials teams to improve producibility, reduce defects, and optimize test coverage.
