Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a mechanical engineer to join our growing business. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical design principles and be proficient with Solidworks. This role involves designing parts and equipment using Soldiworks 3D CAD software. The mechanical engineer will play a crucial role in the development of solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards. Duties Develop, design, and detail projects for the food industry Complete cost estimates and manufacturing routing Collaborate with customers on testing and approvals Prepare technical and manufacturing drawings using Solidworks Oversee the execution of assigned projects and resolve manufacturing challenges Perform additional duties as requested and assigned Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably equipment manufacturing or sheet metal Preferred skills and experience Experience in CAD software is essential; proficiency with Solidworks is preferred Experience with all Microsoft Office Software Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes: machining, forming, welding Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world applications Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively while managing time effectively Strong communication skills Join our team where your expertise will contribute to innovative projects that provide custom solutions for a variety of industries.
