To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team. You Can Contribute and Have an Impact By… Designing, drafting, and procuring industrial equipment to support custom robotic automation solutions that meet customer requirements and performance standards Developing mechanical designs for end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), conveyors, machine structures, pneumatic and vacuum systems, hydraulic systems, and safety components Collaborating with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot complex technical challenges and develop efficient, cost-effective solutions Participating in project meetings to ensure projects remain on schedule and progress according to plan Representing QComp in customer meetings by providing technical expertise and creative solutions that exceed expectations Creating and maintaining engineering documentation, including drawings, spare parts lists, bills of materials, and project records Supporting project startups and commissioning activities to ensure successful system implementation Organizing and managing engineering files and documentation using Autodesk and Microsoft software platforms Qualifications & Experience You Bring… Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Associate Degree in Mechanical Design, or equivalent combination of education and experience Passion for machine design and industrial automation Minimum of 2 years of automation equipment design experience with a four-year engineering degree, or 4 years of relevant experience with a two-year technical degree Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Strong mechanical design, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, project-driven environment Experience with Autodesk Vault preferred Experience supporting proposal development, estimating, and sales drawings preferred Familiarity with ABB, Fanuc, or Staubli robotic systems preferred QComp Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
