Job Description:
- Management and execution of Change Controls (MOCs) from Change Request to final Closeout utilizing Master Control.
- CAD changes, using Solidworks, to provide minor to more complex drawing and design updates for device componentry to address continuous improvement projects. o Machined metal, plastic and sheet metal parts
- Management of verification activities from plan/protocol documentation, to execution, to final results/report documentation.
- Routing of all supporting documentation into Master Control, following all SOPs to assure proper traceability and approval of objective evidence.
- Part measurement execution and statistical analysis performed independently and usage of that analysis to assess tolerance change requests, including assembly stack-up tolerances.
- Support of the manufacturing floor to address issues that may arise. Involves communication and collaboration with OPS and Quality to determine actions that need to be taken and follow up with personnel for closure and effectiveness checks.
- Both direct and support the ng of mechanical enclosures and components of test systems.
- Ability to read schematics/drawings and specify, source and build additional test fixtures.
- Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and safety standards in all work activities.
- Collaborate with other Engineers and Technicians to ensure proper coordination of project work.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP).
- Provide technical support and guidance to other staff.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and safety hazards.
- Estimate material and labor needed to complete mechanical projects and repairs.
- Preferred Skills in the following areas: o Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) experience a plus o Project management experience with short to mid-range project timing o Familiarity with Windows based test systems
- Weekly time allocation: 40 hours
