Job Description
Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has an exciting opportunity available for a limited-term, full-time engineering intern to work on Building Engineering projects at either our Madison, WI or Denver, CO office starting in May/June 2026 and ending in August/September 2026. The intern will be responsible for assisting project engineers with the following: 3D building systems modeling HVAC software applications Load calculations Preparing reports and studies Coordinating with design team members Occasionally assisting project engineers with site surveys May assist with building commissioning Other tasks as assigned. A valid driver's license and occasional travel will be required. Successful candidates must have completed at least four semesters of college-level coursework in mechanical engineering, architectural engineering or a relevant degree from an accredited college or university. The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: Coursework in HVAC and/or plumbing related projects Experience with Revit software Experience working in a design team setting. Hourly Rate Range:
$18.00 to $25.00 per hour - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
