Middleton, WI Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Engineering Entry level Full Job Description ETC is hiring a Component Engineer Co-Op for 2027! This is an 8-9 month position for students starting in January 2027 or May 2027. The expectation would be for the student to take a semester off of school and work full-time with ETC! This is an on-site position in our Middleton, WI office. Please fill out the application and submit your resume AND transcripts Come have fun, work with great people, and make money!! Some of the duties you may be doing: Specify and identify Crystals, Switches, Resistors Inductors, Transistors, Connectors, Capacitors, ICs (chips), Diodes/LEDs Identify electronic component that are candidates for obsolesce. Assist in the redesign of ETC electrical and electronic products. Develop design solutions for electronic component problems and specifications. Entering all related information into the
MRP:
ETC part number, description, Manufacturer, Warehouse and Planner codes Analyze product designs and processes for cost reduction opportunities. Assist in vendor and manufacturer relationships to ensure quality products at the optimal cost are being used. Ensure changes occur in a timely fashion. Identify alternative manufactures and sources for components. Ensure selected parts meet quality standards. Assists in the management and release of standard products into manufacturing. Appropriate vendors are selected to supply parts for new products. Provide engineering support to the manufacturing of already released standard products. ISO procedures related to Manufacturing Engineering are followed. Responses to production issues provide appropriate solutions in a timely fashion. Other duties as assigned. Complete special projects and requests in a timely and positive fashion.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred 1-2 years post high school education in area of specialization
GPA:
3.0 or higher Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in engineering field, specifically Electrical Engineering HR will start reviewing applications end of September
