Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States (On-site) Wisconsin Lifting Specialists is a well-established Lifting and Rigging Company that has been in the manufacturing, material handling industry for over 50 years. We are looking to grow and add talented hard-working individuals to our Company. Job Duties 1. Involvement in the quoting process, with the customer and upper management to ensure that they have a clear understanding of the project as well as the customer's desired goals and outcomes. 2. Determine what resources, processes, and other materials will be necessary to complete the project in the desired timeline, and also to create schedules or plans for every phase of execution. 3. Ultimately responsible for the final quality of a project, ensuring that it is delivered on time and to the client's satisfaction. 4. Enter purchase orders and all job-related information into the system as needed or required. 5. Travel to job sites is required, as needed, for sales, operations, estimating or customer relations. 6. Since the final project plan must account for the Company's time and financial requirements, in addition to the client's quality expectations, must be capable of performing the complex calculations necessary for risk assessments, resource allocation, and budgeting. 7. Once a project is underway, must be able to maintain a clear and accurate picture of all simultaneous and overlapping parts of the process; this may involve regularly checking in with multiple teams and departments (or vendors) as well as reviewing work following the completion of each stage. 8.Utilize computer software to develop designs- solid works knowledge a plus. 9.Analyze design proposals,specifications,manuals,drawings,and other requirements of application or designs. 10.Work together with suppliers for component selection, manufacturing and assembly. 11.Regular attendance, communication and daily meetings between manufacturing leads, inside sales, and upper management. 10.Maintain on-going communications with the sales staff, as appropriate, regarding problems or issues related to managing the project. Supervise the purchase of supplies for jobs; processes the proper purchase orders through established procedures. Qualifications Education
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience & Skills
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to create and read technical drawings,schematics,blueprints and computer-generated reports.
  • Have well developed organizational and analytical skills.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing that meets company requirements.
  • Experience using Solid works 3D modeling highly preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate professionally with the ability to speak,read,write and understand English.
  • Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office) are required
  • Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify Work Environment Ability to move freely on a Manufacturing shop floor.
Walking, Lifting, moving, pulling, Sitting/standing at a desk for an extended period of time.
