Mechanical Engineer•Industrial Equipment & Crane Systems RSC Maritime is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer for a direct-hire opportunity with a global leader in overhead crane and lifting equipment manufacturing located in New Berlin, Wisconsin . Job Responsibilities :
Mechanical Engineer•Industrial Equipment & Crane Systems Design and develop mechanical systems and components for overhead cranes and lifting equipment Create and review engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation Collaborate with manufacturing, project management, and field service teams Support product improvements, custom designs, and engineering modifications Perform structural and mechanical analysis to ensure safety, reliability, and performance Assist with troubleshooting and resolving engineering-related issues Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and customer specifications Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience in industrial equipment, manufacturing, material handling, cranes, heavy machinery, or related industries Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar platforms Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, structural analysis, and manufacturing processes Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Preferred Experience Overhead crane, hoist, lifting equipment, or material handling systems experience Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience Knowledge of ASME, CMAA, OSHA, or related industry standards Project engineering or product development experience.
