Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op to learn the various areas of Mechanical Engineering within the Dematic Organization, and in support of customer projects.

What You Will Do in

This Role:

Support Modernization and Upgrades on existing material handling systems.

Perform site audits to collect required data.

Support the installation of mechanical upgrades.

Provide detailed layouts and documentation for all modernization scopes.

Create Purchase Requests and Parts Order Entry

Drive activities related to ensuring new equipment is built to specification.

Provide technical support for Estimating, Sales, Engineering teams, and Field Operations

. What We are

Looking For:

Candidates must be pursuing a 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering

Ability to learn to maintain and repair material handling systems

Knowledge of CAD design software including AutoCAD

Familiarization with Computer Systems and Technologies.

Ability to solve complex design issues and implement effective and cost-efficient solutions.

Proven communications skills, flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team of solution-oriented professionals.
