Job Description:
As a Revit Operator/Designer with Modular Connections, you will be responsible for creating and managing Revit drawings and details, coordinating 3D models and families of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other MEP systems from engineer redlines and input following company standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of drafting techniques, engineering terminology, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
High attention to detail and accuracy, strong written and verbal communication skills. Prior hands-on electrical experience would be of value in this position Collaborating with engineers, and other professionals to ensure that project specifications and standards are met in the models and drawings Updating and revising models and drawings according to changes in project requirements Creating and managing digital databases for storage and retrieval of BIM and CAD files Conducting quality control checks on models and drawings to ensure they meet industry standards and project specification Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with various departments
Requirements:
College degree and 2+ years of relevant design experience Preferred previous experience: o 4 years of engineering experience o Electrical journeyman certification Familiar with Revit, especially in 3D designs and families Knowledge of and experience in industrial/commercial design for AC/DC systems necessary to support protective relay and/or communications equipment The ability to interpret projects specs and deliver a compliant design package, accurate bill of materials, and other technical detail drawings Knowledge of protective relaying schematics and/or prior control building or communication shelter design experience Self-starting work ethic and the ability to work with minimal direction to achieve project submittal deadlines
