H Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to support the development and design of hardware products. This role will focus on 3D CAD modeling, mechanical design, design for manufacturing and assembly, component selection, and CAD assembly management. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with NX, familiarity with Teamcenter PLM, and hands-on mechanical design experience with sheet metal and machined components. Key Responsibilities Perform computer-aided design (CAD) and fundamental mechanical design activities. Create and maintain 3D models, drawings, and mechanical assemblies using NX. Apply Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles to mechanical designs. Research, evaluate, and select appropriate off-the-shelf mechanical components. Manage CAD assemblies and support assembly-related activities for individual and team projects. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes. Troubleshoot and resolve material, process, component, and part-related issues. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to address design and production challenges. Contribute to inspection activities and failure analysis as needed. Support design improvements and ensure mechanical designs meet functional and manufacturing requirements . Required Qualifications & Skills Strong proficiency in
NX 3D CAD
is required. Candidates should be currently using NX or have at least 2 years of prior NX experience. Familiarity with Teamcenter PLM is required; advanced expertise is not necessary. Strong mechanical design skills, particularly involving: Sheet metal components Machined parts Mechanical assemblies Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Understanding of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacturing principles. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment. Preferred Experience 5+ years of relevant mechanical design experience preferred.
