In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise, detailed drawings and models that serve as the foundation for construction and manufacturing processes. Your expertise will ensure that all HVAC components are accurately represented, compliant with industry standards, and ready for seamless implementation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to innovation and excellence. Duties Develop detailed HVAC system drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and NavisWorks to ensure accuracy and clarity. Create comprehensive schematics, system designs, and assembly instructions aligned with project specifications. Interpret mechanical engineering concepts, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and ASME codes & standards to produce compliant designs. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to review design intent and resolve drafting issues promptly. Utilize 3D modeling tools like SolidWorks, Creo, Autodesk Inventor, and Pro/ENGINEER for precise mechanical component detailing. Prepare technical documentation including specifications, assembly instructions, and technical writing to support manufacturing and construction activities. Incorporate FEA (Finite Element Analysis) insights into design adjustments for optimal system performance. Requirements Proven experience in HVAC detailing or mechanical drafting within construction or manufacturing environments. Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, NavisWorks, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Creo, Autodesk Inventor, and Pro/ENGINEER. Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, schematics development, system design processes, and construction practices. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to HVAC systems and mechanical design. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and 2D/3D models accurately. Excellent technical writing skills for creating clear documentation and reports. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in CAD drafting for complex systems integration. Familiarity with FEA tools and 2D animation techniques is a plus but not required.
