In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics that support various projects across mechanical, construction, and system design disciplines. Your expertise in CAD software and mechanical knowledge will be essential in translating conceptual ideas into accurate, production-ready drawings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects while honing your drafting skills within a collaborative environment. Duties Develop detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, schematics, and system layouts using CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Inventor Collaborate with engineers and designers to interpret design concepts and translate them into accurate drawings aligned with project specifications Prepare assembly instructions, technical documentation, and fabrication details following industry standards like ASME codes & standards Utilize software like NavisWorks, Bluebeam, SolidWorks, Creo, and Pro/ENGINEER to review models and ensure design integrity Assist in creating animations or visual representations of mechanical systems or construction sequences for presentations or client reviews Conduct design reviews, make revisions based on feedback, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Support technical writing efforts by documenting design processes, specifications, and procedures Requirements Proven experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Creo, Autodesk Inventor, and Pro/ENGINEER Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and mechanical design processes Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards for precise manufacturing specifications Knowledge of system design, schematics creation, assembly processes, and construction documentation Experience working with ASME codes & standards to ensure designs meet industry safety requirements Ability to perform FEA (Finite Element Analysis) or 2D animation is a plus but not mandatory Excellent technical writing skills for creating clear documentation and reports Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex technical data accurately Effective communication skills to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams Join us as a Drafter if you're passionate about transforming innovative ideas into detailed technical drawings that drive successful project execution.
