Position Summary:

Cozzini is seeking a Mechanical Drafter to join our Engineering team in Algona, Iowa. This position provides critical engineering support to manufacturing operations through the creation, maintenance, and control of project documentation and technical drawings. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate closely with production teams. Role Responsibilities:

• Process manufacturing drawings, including plot files and work orders Create and revise machine and welding drawings Process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and update drawings accordingly Enter part numbers into the MRP system and create product structures and Bills of Materials (BOMs) Support engineering and production teams with documentation updates and project changes Utilize AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor to create and maintain technical drawings If this excites you, then Cozzini is where you will want to continue your career. Requirements Associate degree or certification in Mechanical Drafting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Proficiency with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor Strong understanding of ANSI dimensioning and geometric detailing practices preferred Knowledge of machining, welding, and quality control practices is a plus Experience in food processing equipment manufacturing is a plus
