This role will be responsible for an integral part of the initial stages of the job. This position will be very independent and work closely with outside entities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drafting layouts for utility construction projects including route and structure planning. Read and interpret construction documents from multiple customers Knowledgeable about permit requirements for each surrounding city Submit and obtain all permits needed to facilitate cable installation Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Adaptable to meet changing business needs throughout the year Outgoing, confident and possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written Computer Literacy - Intermediate MS office suite and experience with a CAD Program Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks Strong follow up and tracking of multiple tasks Communication Data Link offers: Competitive Wages Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off & Holidays Company provided uniforms 401k plan with company match Cell Phone Reimbursement Work expectations:
Standard Work Week:
Monday-Friday; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; some overtime will be available with seasonality of work. Most work with be at a desk, with occasional field work to review the job site Strong focus on computer work
