Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they're well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. Job overview and responsibilities Computer Aided Drafting and Design is responsible for delivering a range of design and production solutions - from concept through project completion. Employee will be accountable for all elements of workflow, as well as adherence to established guidelines, deadlines and drawing standards. Create and maintain engineering drawings, placards, and online manuals. The Illustrator works with engineering and to support projects that need to be completed which are, but not limited to: configuration drawings, part drawings, wiring diagrams/schematics, placard artwork, auditing aircraft. CADD draft and design Auditing aircraft drawing configuration Maintaining drawing databases and documents Working with engineering to develop/modify drawings,

This position is based at the CSC-Willis Tower in Chicago, IL and considered as a hybrid work-schedule working 2-3 days in-office, however that may evolve with the needs of the company. Qualifications What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications): Associate Degree in Applied Technology, Engineering Drafting Technology or an equivalent degree or a minimum 5 years Drafting and Design experience and demonstrated increased skill and responsibility. 2+ years of CADD Drafting Experience Expertise in one of the industry drafting disciplines Experience troubleshooting PC hardware, software, printers and plotters Requires proficiency in AutoDesk AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor, Adobe Illustrator, Arbortext IsoDraw, Office 2016 Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be organized, detail oriented and accurate Good spelling, proofing, written and verbal skills are essential Willing and able to travel 10% of the time Able to Lead a project with little oversight and manage several projects at one time Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications): Bachelor's degree Wiring Diagram experience The base pay range for this role is $66,500.00 to $86,616.00. The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
