Job Description

Description
  • Create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks
  • Produce door assembly drawings for bifold, hydraulic, and specialty door systems
  • Update and revise individual door components and manufactured parts
  • Update electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for door control systems
  • Create fabrication drawings for production and shop use
  • Maintain accurate component documentation, revision history, and drawing standards
  • Organize and manage CAD files, part libraries, and records within the company database
  • Work closely with engineering, production, sales, and purchasing to ensure accurate and efficient manufacturing
  • Ensure drawings comply with company standards and manufacturing best practices Skills Mechanical design, Design, Solidworks, Mechanical, Drafting, Revit, 3d modeling, Sheet metal Top Skills Details Mechanical design Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Background in Drafting, Mechanical Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with
CAD Drafting:
SolidWorks (preferred), Inventor, AutoCAD
  • Experience creating manufacturing and fabrication drawings
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, machining, welding, and manufacturing processes is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and revisions while meeting deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Hector, MN.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $70000.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
