Job Description

Launch your career as an CAD Operator in North Tonawanda, NY, where you'll contribute to specialized industrial design projects involving custom FRP tanks and pressure vessels. This is a great opportunity to join a growing industrial plastics manufacturer known for its engineering-focused environment, hands-on project work, and potential for contract-to-permanent growth. Qualifications and responsibilities for this CAD Operator position include: Degree or Trade School education required in civil, electrical, architecture, or a related field Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is required 2-3 years of experience in FRP (Fiber-Reinforced Polymer) OR pressure vessel design is preferred Draft and detail custom-designed FRP tanks in the engineering department based on code and customer specifications Prepare overview drawings and detailed drafting for pressure vessels and FRP custom designs Collaborate with engineering teams to support drafting and detailing efforts Work full-time on-site Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with overtime as needed Support specialized industrial projects with accuracy, organization, and attention to technical requirements

Salary :

$22-25/hour, commensurate with experience.
