Mechanical Drafter

Description The Mechanical Draftsman is responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate technical drawings used to manufacture walk‑in coolers, freezers, and related components. This role works closely with engineers and designers to ensure documentation supports efficient production. Respnsibilities Prepare detailed mechanical drawings from the engineers or designers input Update and revise drawings based on engineering changes Maintain drawing files, revision histories, and documentation standards Assist in converting legacy drawings into current CAD formats Ensure drawings are clear, complete, and suitable for fabrication Support production teams by clarifying drawing details as needed Qualifications Technical certificate or associate degree in Drafting or CAD Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clearfield, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $43.27/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
