Determine design factors such as size, shape, and arrangement of parts - These may include foundations, steel structures, refractories piping and ductwork systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs basic and complex layouts from information specified by others. Responsible for as-built drawings at the end of a project. Performs detailed dimensional and bill of material check of all drawings. Create 3D models and detail drawings with Autodesk Inventor Creating bill of materials Collaboration with other disciplines to create layouts and detail drawings Assists in determining how to best meet job requirements. Ask questions and address issues during the project work. Checks entire job for interferences and constructability.

REQUIREMENTS 3-5

years of experience in Mechanical Drafting and an associate degree in Drafting/Design or equivalent experience. AutoCAD and Inventor 3D required Understanding of mechanical and Structural drafting disciplines. Knowledge of fabrication, purchasing, and field installation/construction. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness in work. Strong communication skills and organization of documents. Additional Details
