Job Description:
GEA Group, located in York, PA is searching for a Drafter III to join our Custom Engineered Systems team! This position is responsible for creating drawings and bills of material for the design and fabrication of compressor packages, and industrial heating and refrigeration systems used in the oil & gas, power, petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, and related industries.
Responsibilities:
Prepares accurate and on-time delivery of drawings and bills of material to internal and external customers as required for the execution of orders for Custom Engineered Systems. Ensures that documentation adheres to requirements and is dimensionally/pictorially complete and accurate. Enhances knowledge of departmental methods, products, and drafting/CAD skills through assignments and training. Submits ideas to improve quality, reduce cost, and increase productivity. Performs other duties as assigned. Profile And Qualifications High School graduate and/or Technical School graduate or equivalent. 5+ years of computer-aided drafting (CAD) experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail oriented Customer oriented Self-motivated Ability to multitask Ability to thrive in a time-line driven environment The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $29.00 - $35.18 per hour. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States. The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
