Job Description
Overview:
Convert legacy drawings (paper and AutoCAD) into SolidWorks using current company standards Create new designs and drawings to support new product development Manage engineering documentation — drawings, specs, redlines, as-builds — through its full lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and version control Release documentation throughECR/ECN/DCN
processes into the company's EDM and MRP systems Collaborate cross-functionally to keep approvals moving and resolve discrepancies Support audits, inventory control, and reporting on document statusRequirements:
Proficiency in SolidWorks (professional, college, or high school-level experience considered) Computer savvy with strong technical aptitude Able to read technical drawings, BOMs, parts lists, and specifications Strong attention to detail, organization, and technical writing skills Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiarity with AutoCAD a plus Nice toHave:
Familiarity withASME Y14
