In this role, you will develop and maintain electrical drawing packages for custom automation systems, working directly under the guidance of our Controls Manager. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to build hands-on experience in industrial controls within a supportive, team-oriented environment. Recent graduates from a technical program are encouraged to apply — what matters most is a solid foundation, a willingness to learn, and the right attitude. Qualifications -

CAD Drafter Required:

Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited technical or vocational program (Electrical, Electronics, Drafting, or related field) Working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical Fundamental understanding of electrical schematics and control system drawings Exhibit a professional attitude and analytical problem-solving skills with a strong desire to continuously improve drafting skills and take on new tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Positive attitude and genuine eagerness to learn and grow professionally

Preferred:

1-3 years of experience in electrical drafting or a related role Familiarity with industrial automation or control panel design Exposure to UL 508A standards Key Responsibilities - Electrical Drafter Create electrical schematics and drawing packages for automation and control systems Update and revise drawings as projects evolve through design and build phases Organize and maintain accurate drawing documentation throughout each project lifecycle Collaborate with the Controls Manager and engineering team to ensure drawings meet project requirements Follow PrimeTest standards and UL 508A panel building guidelines in all documentation Work Environment This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Fort Lauderdale, FL facility.
