This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and gain hands-on experience in the field. This position will be located on site at our Middletown, RI office.
Responsibilities:
Contribute individually and/or as a team member to support our customer's unique mission needs Work with key stakeholders to accomplish goals and objectives to support SAIC's project/program portfolio Build awareness and experience of key capability skills in support of SAIC business efforts Conduct data and process analysis to support development of key solutions Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions in these technical fields
Technology Areas:
Mechanical Engineering:
Utilization of CAD software to develop 3D models and 2D drawings for complex electromechanical parts and assemblies. Perform different engineering analyses on the overall design which can include FEA, tolerance stack-up, reliability, design for manufacturing, and design for assembly. Qualifications 
Qualifications:
High School Diploma Experience using CAD software for the development of 3D models and 2D drawings SolidWorks is the in-house CAD platform used Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Have a passion for a career in technology U.S. Citizen Overview SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
