Job Description
We are seeking a Piping Designer to support piping layout and design activities for a large industrial refining project. Responsibilities Develop piping layouts and design deliverables. Create and revise piping plans, sections, details, and related drawings. Interpret P&IDs and equipment information. Develop piping routing around process equipment and facility structures. Coordinate designs with other engineering disciplines. Participate in 3D model reviews and resolve design conflicts. Incorporate engineering comments and project standards into designs. Support material takeoffs and other piping documentation as required. Qualifications Piping design experience within industrial/process facilities. Experience with refining, petrochemical, chemical processing, oil and gas, or EPC projects preferred. Ability to interpret P&IDs and equipment layouts. Experience with 3D plant-design software. Strong understanding of piping layout/design principles. Ability to work onsite in Houston. Preferred Current AutoCAD Plant 3D experience strongly preferred.
