- Full-time Position Overview This position plays a critical role in supporting Engineering, Operations, and Materials Management by ensuring system accuracy and enabling efficient production execution.
Success in this role requires a high degree of accuracy, accountability, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly variable, made-to-order manufacturing environment. This role is designed with defined areas of responsibility and intentional overlap with other Engineering administrative resources to support fluctuating departmental demands. Over time, this position is expected to take on increased ownership of data integrity and proactively identify and resolve discrepancies. Key Responsibilities The primary responsibilities of this position are focused on the following: Creation and maintenance of Bills of Material (BOMs) and Routings within Microsoft Dynamics GP Supporting Engineering data integrity through alignment of BOMs with engineering drawings Assisting with item master setup and maintenance Supporting New Product Development (NPD) through accurate and timely system setup Participating in routing development, including time studies and process definition Supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives through accurate data and process discipline Maximizing departmental and overall company efficiency by effectively supporting Engineering activities Qualifications Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required); experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred Experience working with Bills of Material (BOMs), routings, or similar structured data systems Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and system management Intermediate math skills and strong analytical capability General knowledge of manufacturing processes (metal fabrication, plastics, assembly, etc.) preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability Experience participating in or supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-variability environment Education High School Diploma; associate or bachelor's degree preferred, with continuing technical education or equivalent education and experience Experience 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing administrative, engineering support, or related role Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, STD/LTD, Paid Vacation, Birthday, Holidays and 401K Royal Basket Trucks, Inc is an equal opportunity employer
