Create drawings, 3D models, charts, shop order packages, and wiring diagrams from engineering specification sheet, previous drawings, marked prints, freehand sketches, standard catalogues, etc. They may also assist others in taking shop or field measurements, and making rough sketches or drawings of products, machines or structures in the plant. Must demonstrate the ability to make clear, accurate drawings, embodying the best current drafting practices, symbols, and nomenclature as adopted by the Company, and documented in the Engineering Drafting Manual. Check detail and assembly drawings and shop orders, not only dimensionally, but also to confirm that the design package contains accurate assembly and fabrication data. Work with the Product Engineering and Drafting team to support a variety of projects under minimum supervision. Your Physical Work Environment Will Require… This is an office environment position in La Crosse, WI. Your Experience Should Be… Experience with AutoCad/Inventor software or other 3D modelling experience is desirable. Should be familiar with engineering terms/symbols and have basic knowledge of shop practices. Willingness to learn and practice multiple engineering disciplines such as vessel design, design of steel structures, and design of piping systems, as required to accomplish the above listed essential duties. Your Education Should Be… Associates Degree in Mechanical Design

•One year of post-high school technical training in mechanical drafting plus two to three years of actual experience.
