Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a hands-on Mechatronics Engineer to support the design, development, assembly, and improvement of manufacturing jigs and automation equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical design, PLC programming, electrical wiring, and equipment troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Design manufacturing processes and develop jig specifications based on production time and workflow analysis. Prepare jig specifications and coordinate with equipment manufacturers and vendors regarding technical requirements. Design new jigs and modify existing jigs using 3D CAD software. Select, source, and procure mechanical components for jigs and automation equipment. Assemble mechanical jigs and fixtures. Select and procure electrical components. Perform electrical wiring for jigs and automation equipment. Develop and modify PLC and HMI (Touch Panel) programs. Repair, troubleshoot, and fine-tune manufacturing equipment and jigs. Configure and adjust industrial robots (primarily FANUC robots) and machine vision systems (KEYENCE cameras and sensors). Perform machining operations using milling machines, lathes, drill presses, and other machine tools to fabricate mechanical parts. Support continuous improvement activities to enhance manufacturing efficiency and equipment reliability. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Experience with 3D CAD software for mechanical design. Experience with PLC programming and HMI development. Knowledge of electrical wiring and control systems. Experience assembling and troubleshooting automation equipment or manufacturing jigs. Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings. Hands-on machining experience (milling machine, lathe, drill press, etc.). Experience working with industrial robots and machine vision systems is preferred. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with FANUC industrial robots. Experience with KEYENCE vision systems and sensors. Experience in manufacturing automation and fixture design. Familiarity with pneumatic systems, including air-cylinder-driven mechanisms. Experience with small to medium-sized automation equipment and tabletop assembly fixtures. Work Environment Hands-on role involving mechanical assembly, equipment setup, electrical wiring, and machine adjustment. Frequent collaboration with equipment suppliers, manufacturing, and engineering teams. Combination of office-based design work and factory floor support.
