Job Description
I'm currently hiring for Software Engineer position in Austin, TX! Job Description We are seeking a Mechatronics Software Engineer to integrate and commission devices on EtherCAT networks, troubleshoot wiring and controls, and support field testing. You will modify and tune C-based control loops and diagnose software versus hardware failures, driving resolution for multi-axis motion control systems. Responsibilities + Integrate and commission devices on EtherCAT networks. + Troubleshoot wiring, controls, sensors, actuators, and electrical systems. + Modify and tune C-based control loops and actuator logic. + Support field testing and root cause investigations. + Diagnose software vs. hardware failures and drive resolution. + Support multi-axis motion control systems. Essential Skills + Proficiency in C++ and C programming languages. + Experience with EtherCAT networks. + Experience with TwinCAT + Hands-on troubleshooting and commissioning experience. + Experience with motion control and multi-axis systems. + 1+ years of experience in relevant fields. + Strong experience in robotics, kinetics, and mathematics. + Experience with embedded systems and firmware. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Hands-on experience with high voltage - 480 devices. + Comfortable with wiring and hands-on debugging. + Experience in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems. + Ability to modify and update control-level C++ code. + Experience with both robotics and mechatronics systems. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $58.00 - $72.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
