Job Description
The Mechatronics Student Lab Assistant supports the operation, organization, and maintenance of Mechatronics laboratories by assisting students and faculty with equipment, lab preparation, inventory management, troubleshooting, safety compliance, and maintaining a professional learning environment. Reviews the completed tasks of students in the laboratory. Ensures the lab is operated safely and in compliance. Maintains a clean and organized laboratory. Reviews tools and inventory to ensure that all items are returned and properly accounted for. Other job-related duties as assigned. Must be a current UVU student majoring in Mechatronics Engineering Technology, Engineering, Automation, Manufacturing, or a related field Have a basic understanding of electrical circuits, PLC fundamentals, industrial safety procedures, and hand tools
