Job Description

Engineering Technician Sunlite Plastics Germantown, WI Sunlite Plastics is a custom extrusion company that specializes in high volume, tight tolerance, flexible medical tubing. We also compound PVC materials for our own use. Sunlite's customers include many of the most highly regarded medical device OEMs in the world.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist with process validations & engineering process characterizations. Miscellaneous engineering change order (ECO) and drawing updates. Assist with equipment design, build, and automation projects. Hands-on experience with blending, compounding, extrusion and inspection. Installs, repairs, overhauls, rebuilds, modifies, tests, and troubleshoots integrated mechanical and electrical systems. Assembly, testing, and documentation of prototype equipment as required. Execute experiments under the direction of an engineer. Analyze, summarize, and communicate test results. Participates in special projects as required.
Requirements:
A Technical, Associate, or Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience within a manufacturing, custom, or job shop environment. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD knowledge is a plus. Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task while paying close attention to detail. Proficiency in written and oral communication. Initiative to work independently and keep projects on schedule. Proven reliability with excellent attendance and punctuality a must.
