Full-Time Job Summary Earth Engineering Consultants is seeking a motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Windsor, Colorado. This position is ideal for a recent civil engineering graduate interested in gaining hands-on experience in geotechnical engineering, field exploration, and engineering analysis. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced engineers and geologists on geotechnical investigations, engineering analysis, and report preparation. Qualifications•Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer I Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required Strong interest in geotechnical engineering and subsurface exploration Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work both in field and office environments Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sitesPreferred:
Coursework in geotechnical engineering, soil mechanics, or foundation design Internship or prior experience in civil or geotechnical engineering Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineer Key Responsibilities Assist with planning and performing geotechnical field investigations Observe and document drilling and sampling activities Log soil and rock samples from field explorations Perform engineering analysis related to foundations, earthwork, and site development Assist in preparation of geotechnical engineering reports and recommendations Conduct construction observation and testing services Communicate findings with project engineers and project managers Maintain accurate field and laboratory documentation Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience ($65,000- 75,000 annually) Company Vehicle for Field Work Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401k with company matching Flexible spending account (FSA) and health savings account (HSA) options Paid time off and holidays Professional development and mentorship toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure About Earth Engineering Consultants Earth Engineering Consultants is a geotechnical engineering firm providing subsurface investigation, engineering analysis, and construction support services for commercial, infrastructure, roads, highways, and dam projects.
