Key Responsibilities:
Conduct geotechnical investigations, site assessments, and subsurface explorations to support infrastructure, transportation, and building projects. Analyze soil, rock, and groundwater conditions and prepare detailed geotechnical reports with design recommendations. Perform geotechnical design calculations for foundations, retaining structures, slope stability, and ground improvement techniques. Provide technical support during construction, including reviewing submittals, performing field observations, and resolving geotechnical challenges. Assist in preparing geotechnical engineering reports, specifications, and contract documents to support design and construction. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory agencies to ensure project objectives and compliance standards are met.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering; Master's degree or higher preferred. Minimum of 2 years of geotechnical engineering experience supporting transportation, infrastructure, and building projects. Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain within one year. Proficiency with geotechnical analysis software (e.g., g
INT, SLOPE/W, LPILE, PLAXIS
2D or 3D) and standard office applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise technical reports and presentations.
Compensation Range:
