What You'll Be Doing Participate in hands-on learning across quarry operations, including mine planning, safety, equipment evaluation, and process optimization Develop short-, medium-, and long-term mine plans, including pit shell designs, stripping plans, waste development plans, and reclamation plans Prepare geological models and perform resource and reserve estimations Develop life-of-mine plans with phased development schedules, milestones, and cost inputs Provide design parameters and volume calculations to support capital and acquisition projects Collaborate with regional management, geologists, project managers, and engineers to evaluate mineral quantity and quality Ensure mine plans align with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company objectives What Are We Looking For Juniors or Seniors pursuing a BS in Mining, Civil Engineering, or Geologist Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills with demonstrated initiative and adaptability Ability to manage multiple projects, build relationships, and think strategically Experience with Carlson / AutoCAD software or any other mining and geological software.
