Cypress, CA We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented non-destructive evaluation (NDE) Test Technician to support inspection and quality activities within a manufacturing environment. This role will assist with visual inspection, non-destructive testing methods, and dimensional inspection processes to ensure parts meet engineering and quality requirements. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn advanced inspection technologies such as IR thermography, CT scanning, GOM systems, and CMM equipment while working closely with experienced technicians and engineers. This position plays an important role in maintaining product quality, supporting production goals, and upholding safety and compliance standards. In this role, you will need to pass a vision test and be able to lift up to 20 lbs. Why Rolls-Royce? Perform basic visual inspections to identify surface defects and non-conformances under supervision Assist with non-destructive testing methods including infrared (IR) thermography and computed tomography (CT) Support operation of GOM systems for 3D scanning and inspection activities Assist with dimensional inspection using CMM equipment Follow established inspection procedures, work instructions, and quality standards Accurately document inspection results and report findings to senior technicians or engineers Maintain cleanliness and organization of inspection areas and equipment Support equipment setup, basic maintenance, and calibration checks Collaborate with team members to meet production and quality goals Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Who we're looking for: At Rolls-Royce we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference. High School Diploma or GED (General Educational Development) In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.Preferred Requirements:
0-2 years of experience in manufacturing, inspection, or a related technical field Basic understanding or exposure to inspection or quality processes preferred Interest in learning NDE methods including IR and CT Ability to read basic engineering drawings (GD&T knowledge is a plus but not required) Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Good communication and teamwork skills Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation What we offer: We offer excellent development opportunities, a competitive salary, and exceptional benefits.
