Job Type:
Direct hire role Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on aircraft sheet metal components using Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI), Radiographic, and Digital X-Ray methods. Interpret inspection results, create and approve technique sheets, document findings, and ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards. May audit procedures and oversee other technicians.
Requirements:
Certifications in FPI, Radiographic, and Digital X-Ray Inspection. Ability to read engineering blueprints, manufacturing plans, and sketches. Basic knowledge of GD&T, shop mathematics, and precision measuring instruments. Experience inspecting complex aircraft components and programming Digital X-Ray systems. Ability to work with Quality Engineering, Design Engineering, and Manufacturing teams. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and follow all safety procedures.
Pay:
$33.00 - $37.00 per hour Application Question(s): Are you certified in FPI, Radiographic, and Digital X-Ray Inspection (NDT)? Do you have experience performing NDT inspections on aircraft sheet metal components and interpreting inspection results?
Experience:
