Job Description

About us ATC Inc. is a major manufacturer of commercial and military tube assemblies. Using the latest in computer driven equipment, exact duplicates are made from customer blueprints, engineering data or sample parts. We specialize in close tolerance rotary draw bending. ATC Inc. can provide tube assemblies ranging from 1/8" to 4" inch diameter. Centerline bend radii are available for 1x, 2x, and 3x the tube diameter. The ideal candidate has experience performing Liquid Penetrant (PT) Method A / Method D inspections and Visual Weld inspections on welded (GTAW) assemblies and machined products in the aerospace industry. You are familiar with general quality requirements outlined in AWS D17.1 and ASTM E1417, as well as other industry standards. In addition, evaluate the integrity of welded assemblies in accordance with other internal and / or customer requirements and specifications. Familiarity with specifications from Boeing, Sikorsky and Northrop Grumman move you to the front of the line. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs daily start up and system performance checks of NDT equipment. Maintains logs and records to assure traceability of components. Performs interpretations and evaluations of NDT results per customer and industry requirements. Familiar with requirements for AS9100 and NADCAP. Perform all other duties as they may be assigned. Education and Experience Requires High School diploma or equivalent, and successful completion of ASNT Level I and II courses. Requires documentation demonstrating completion of at least the minimum hours of formal training and experience for each NDT method requiring certification. These hours are required to meet the minimum requirements of NAS 410. Knowledge, Skill and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Demonstrated familiarity with the scope and limitations of NDT methods Able to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints. Experience with stainless steel alloys, titanium, aluminum. Familiar with NADCAP audits. Must pay close attention to detail and be accurate. Good written and verbal communication skills. Effective communicator with internal and external customers.
