Anticipated Project Duration:

ASAP - Sept 2026 A Weld Tech VT Inspector is responsible for conducting in-process and final inspection of Code related activities. These activities may include, but are not limited to: welder qualification, receipt inspection of materials/equipment, welding material control, visual welding inspection and mechanical connections, nondestructive surface examinations, witnessing final testing and assist in the compilation of the final quality control records. In addition, the Weld Tech shall perform inspections and verifications as defined in client requirements as specified in the contract. As the Weld Tech VT Inspector, here's the work you'll do:

• Inspections of code related activities
• Welder qualifications, receipt inspection of materials and equipment, welding material controls
• Conducts visual welding connections, nondestructive surface examinations.
• Witness final testing and assist in the compilation of the final quality control records
• Perform inspections and verifications as defined in client quality program or client requirements as specified and provides recommended resolution of the identified quality issues. This role is for you if you have these skills:
• Analytical ability to grasp key factors from detailed specifications
• Effective verbal communication and report writing skills.
• Working knowledge of construction industry Codes and Standards - Welding Processes
• Good leadership capabilities to lead quality initiatives to successful completion
• Basic knowledge of applicable software to compile quality process data. Familiar with the tools, concepts and methodologies of quality management And if you have these qualifications:
• High School or Equivalent
• 5 years Quality related Experience
• Qualitied VT Welding Inspection training & background
• AWS CWI and/or

ASNT NDE

Level II preferred

• Great attitude and team player.
• Successful completion of background screening process.

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $81,000 - $135,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
