Job Description

Frazier Industrial Company is the leading manufacturer of racking systems, with its headquarters located in Long Valley, NJ. We are looking for a full time Quality Assurance, AWS (CWI QC1) Certified Welding Inspector based at our Idaho Falls, Idaho location.
Position Details:
This position requires a person with a friendly, open minded attitude and good communication skills. The inspector position requires constant floor inspection/documentation of all manufacturing processes including cutting, punching, shearing, stamping, notching, welding and paint. Our welding process is a GMAW using (Spray Transfer).

QA Inspection Duties & Responsibilities:
Daily floor inspections, documentation, fixture inspection, weld inspections general overview of part fit-up, visual weld inspection, review of welding WPS's & PQR's, compliance of welding credentials and documents. Performing welder certification testing per in house to the requirements of
AWS D1.1
Structural Welding Code, this does include some minor destructive testing. Writing Welder Qualification Records after WQR tests are performed. Maintain daily inspection Records Monitor welder qualification records. Maintain company control processes, procedures and specifications. Understand the requirements of the

Structural Welding Code and requirements of the
CWB W47.1-19/59-18.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings. Communication with plant staff and engineering. Daily verification of welding equipment and documentation. Occasional travel by car or plane, with ability to adhere to Company travel requirements. Maintaining the TG 1 requirements of Clark County. Maintaining the requirements AWS, CWB, Clark County, City of Phoenix, and other counties and requirements. Provide welder qualification in-house testing.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
: All applicants must hold AWS and CWB certifications and provide those certification numbers with their resume.
A. AWS CWI QC1
Certification. B. CWB Level 1 Certification C. 5-Years welding experience D. High School diploma or equivalent Good penmanship Computer skills MS Office tools. Must be willing to travel when needed and have a personal credit card. Knowledge of inspection tools and Inspection equipment. Clean driving record & willing to sign a waiver to have driving record verified. Organization skills, self-driven and motivated. Drug Testing prior to employment Physical required prior to employment.
Must List:
AWS Certification number, CWB certification number, email address, phone number and past 5-years of work experience. Any other related duties or specific's will be provided during the employee's interview
