Omni AR's Values Ownership, Integrity & Accountability Communication & Professionalism Attention to Detail & Accuracy Performance & Growth Job Summary We are seeking a goal oriented, self motivated individual to join our team and help our clients with collection of past-due accounts. This is an entry-level position great for someone eager to learn and grow. Our Collections Agent ensures accurate noting, billing, invoices and notices sent, and phone calls made on accounts. Key responsibilities include managing accounts, following up with accounts needing extra attention, communicating with individuals regarding payments, payment plans, and negotiating payments in full via phone calls. Attention to detail, communication skills, and payment management skills are critical to this role. Responsibilities Reach out to individuals via phone using professional phone etiquette to discuss overdue accounts and facilitate payment arrangements Review and analyze account details, including billing information, contracts, and account reconciliation data Document all collection activities accurately within financial software and accounting software systems Negotiate payment plans or settlement options while maintaining a positive customer experience Follow up on outstanding accounts, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to company, federal and state policies Skills Proficiency with Mircosoft software (Excel) and accounting software Excellent phone etiquette combined with customer service skills to handle sensitive conversations professionally Knowledge of financial concepts such as debits & credits, account analysis, and account reconciliation or the aptitude to learn Effective negotiation skills to facilitate payment arrangements or settlements Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately and quickly in high-pressure situations Apply if you're eager to start your career in a steady, upbeat office environment downtown Idaho Falls!
