A Non-Destructive Testing Specialist uses ultrasonic, electromagnetic, thermal or liquid penetration tests to check structures or materials for cracks, defects or signs of corrosion. May work on large structures such as bridges, dams or pipelines, or check vehicles such as aircraft. Interprets and reports on test results that include images and measurements; maintains and calibrates equipment.

Job Description
Modern Forge is a steel forging manufacturer seeking experienced Certified Magnetic Particle Inspector candidates for our quality control department in our industrial manufacturing facility. This is a great position for quality inspectors with certified magnetic particle experience. Inspectors in this position set up, adjust, and operate the magnetic particle process to accept or reject parts by inspecting and interpreting magnetic indications of surface discontinuities. This position will also be expected to assist in all aspects of quality inspection as well. Wage depends upon level of certification and ability to provide documentation . We provide continuous training for the right experienced individual to regain and/or raise their certification level. Certified Magnetic Particle inspection candidates must possess a strong work ethic and are expected to successfully complete a background and drug screen .
